On Sunday, after an inspiring message from Doug Ripley, they church went to a new level of sacrifice for His glory. This was the major takeaway from the message on Mary anointing Jesus in Jn. 12. “Sacrifice is giving up something you love very much, for someone that you love even more” When the invitation was given, each church member came forward to not only give their Faith Promise, but to pray for each and every one of the missionaries and tell them, “you are not alone, we are with you”. When the total of their Faith Promise was given, they had a significant increase, and their total commitment was S/168,000 (soles, which is over $50,000 US dollars)!!
